Welcome to
Harrow Parks Forum
The Harrow Parks Forum Group is a welcoming community of local people who care deeply about Harrow’s green spaces, supported by volunteers.
Harrow’s parks and open spaces are at the heart of everyday life in the borough. From peaceful green retreats and lively playgrounds to sports pitches and nature reserves, they’re places where people come to relax, play, explore and reconnect with nature, and act as a vital resource within the community.
By volunteering with Harrow Parks, you can help protect and improve these much-loved spaces for everyone. Whether you enjoy gentle walks, getting outdoors with family, supporting local wildlife, or simply meeting like-minded people, there’s a way to get involved that suits you.
The Harrow Parks Forum Group focus is to encourage discussion and the sharing of information and experience.
Our key aims are to:
Discuss and share best practices.
Work in partnership with the London Borough of Harrow (LBH) to maintain green spaces within available budgets.
Influence decision making and the allocation of resources.
Liaise with LBH to foster a cooperative relationship between parks, health, sports and environmental services.
Act as a key consultation group within the community.
Assist in establishing newly constituted Friends Groups and Park User Groups (PUGs).
Together, we help keep Harrow’s parks thriving—making the borough healthier, greener and more enjoyable for everyone who lives, works and visits here.
